ARE THEY NUTS??? Our friend "Crazy Chris"
Concert of "The Woodshed Post" gave a challenge. He wanted to do something special to raise funds for VWHB,
so he made a commitment to jump in Harvey's Lake in New Year's Day 2010 if his goal of $1,000.00 was met.
Chris not only met his goal, but nearly doubled it! His final total for the fund
raiser was $1,700.00 which was donated to Valley with a Heart Benefits. Being a man of his word, Chris took the icy
plunge at 2:00 PM on January 1, 2010 accompanied by Selena from "The Doc Show" on Froggy 101, and some VWHB Staffers
along with some family & friends. A crowd of around 100 people lined the shore to watch the craziness.
It was a great day and a fun event!
